L&L was founded in 2009 by Lisa K. Lowy and Lorie Hart who have a passion for art, antiques, wine and helping people. We are fully insured and registered as a Limited Liability Corporation with the State of Ohio.

When Lisa’s mother passed away, she needed someone to help her liquidate her mom’s belongings. She realized there was a demand for an estate liquidation service that combined professionalism and knowledge with the compassion to treat her mother’s belonging with care and respect. L&L Estate Liquidation & Appraisal Services was established, based on these principles.

When clients began requesting personal property appraisals, Lisa and Lorie became Accredited Members of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) in 2011. Their appraisal reports are objective, accurate and meet the high ethical standards of ISA and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). They are court approved in the State of Ohio in Cuyahoga, Portage and Geauga Counties.

L&L is licensed to conduct online auctions by the State of Ohio Department of Agriculture. License #2022000091.

What our clients say….

“Thank you again for appraising our Malangatana painting. The Cleveland Museum of Art accepted the painting into its permanent collection. Eager to have the painting appraised, we had understood that the Museum would arrange a timely appraisal. When this turned out not to be the case, we asked the Museum to recommend an appraiser and they recommended Bonham’s in New York. Bonham’s New York office referred us to you. We contacted you and within six days you had examined and photographed the painting at the Museum, done the necessary research, consulted with colleagues, written an appraisal, and completed your part of Internal Revenue’s Form 8283. We are looking for a permanent home for our two other Malangatana paintings and, when we do, we will be contacting you again for your professional help.” -Sandy
